On our path toward more sustainable mobility, we focus on four fundamental pillars:

Responsible Environmental Management: Our activities contribute to monitoring and reducing pollutant emissions such as CO₂ and particulate matter by inspecting vehicle emissions. This encourages corrective actions for vehicles that exceed reasonable limits based on their type. Currently, nearly 10% of the vehicles we inspect must adjust their emission systems to better respect the environment.

Innovation for Sustainable Mobility: Our work supports the transition to cleaner, more advanced technologies, such as electric and hybrid vehicles. Additionally, we adapt our verification systems to the technological innovations integrated into modern vehicles.

At Applus+ Iteuve, we offer innovative solutions that ensure safer and more environmentally friendly vehicles, promoting a cleaner future.
1. Environmental Inspection and Control
- Advanced emissions measurement: We verify the emissions of industrial vehicles and fleets. In addition to individual customers, we ensure that companies and professionals comply with road safety and environmental regulations.
- Vehicle inspections for electric and hybrid vehicles: We ensure these vehicles meet all safety and efficiency requirements established by current legislation and are committed to contributing to the development of these regulations to enhance road and environmental safety.
2. Digitalization and Resource Optimization
- Digital vehicle inspections and process automation: We eliminate unnecessary paper usage and improve service efficiency.
- Big Data and Artificial Intelligence: We apply advanced technology to predict trends and optimize our management systems.
- Online management platform: Our customers can schedule appointments and manage documentation digitally, reducing unnecessary travel.
- Renewable energy in vehicle inspection stations: We are working on installing photovoltaic panels and charging stations for hybrid and electric vehicles. Some of our stations, such as those in Tambre, Sabón, Cacheiras, Ferrol, Ribeira, O Allo, Sionlla, and Espíritu Santo, are already equipped with these installations. Currently, we have a total installed solar capacity of 606.59 kWp, generating an annual solar output of 693,842.25 kWh. Thanks to measures like this, we are proud to prevent more than 3,300 tons of CO₂ emissions over the lifetime of these facilities. Additionally, we have installed 19 free charging points for hybrid and electric vehicles, with power capacities of 50 kW and 7.4 kW, allowing our customers to charge their vehicles while completing their inspection.
